Saori Kita

Born in Honolulu Hawaii, Saori grew up in Tokyo. As a little girl, her greatest joy was making flower chains. Saori moved to Sydney when she was sixteen and fell in love with Australian botanical structures playful secret. She completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First Class Honours in 2011 and currently undertaking her Master of studio arts at Sydney College of the Arts.

Saori’s work has been exhibited at Studio20/17 a solo exhibition Perrenial Moments. (2012) As well as exhibited for ‘mineralART inside quartz” in Munich Germany, and selected for the finalist of “The Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize” at the South Australian Museum (2010)

Currently living and works in Sydney and her work is represented at Studio20/17 in Sydney Australia.
